Busted

This past weekend the weather has been beautiful. Lots of snow, only to have it all turn into a major rain storm today. We have already had over 10cm of RAIN in the past 24 hours. I miss my snow. Bryan and I did manage to enjoy the snow while it was here, we went for a walk along the dyke on Saturday, and then on Sunday we built a snowman at my mom’s house. Meet Mr. Snow Manny the second. Next weekend we are planning to get our seasons passes pictures taken and to do some snowboarding on Mount Seymour.

Last night I happened to come across my favorite annual magazine. Snowboard Canada’s Womens Annual. There is something awesome about being able to look at killer photographs of professional WOMEN snowboarders that makes me want to improve and better myself on the mountain. This is the second edition of this great magazine, I got it last year in my Christmas stocking. The best magazine my mom has ever given to me. I saw it again on the rack at 7-11 last night and I just had to buy it.

On a sad note, I do not think I’ll be able to take any footage of snowboarding and any pictures anymore. I accidentally left my digital camera in my car over night last Friday. The temperatures dropped below zero and it was snowing. I stupidly brought my camera back inside the house with out slowly warming it up to avoid condensation and mechanical problems. It powers on, but then automatically zooms out to the fullest and then a message appears on the screen “please turn camera off and then on again”. I currently have my camera over at my moms house, laying low and relaxing. I am hoping and keeping my fingers crosses that it just needs time to dry out, or to correct itself on its own. I really cannot afford to buy a new camera, or pay for any major repairs.

You can have some of my snow! Lol. That is all I have here xD It snowed. Then freezing rain. Then just rain. And then yesterday night more snow! I should take some pictures of outside, it is crazy! Normally it is just cool or cold until after Christmas and then in January it snows. My parents were still playing golf this time last year! Weird weather xD

I’m sorry to hear about your camera, technology is so iffy these days. It’s funny though, because a lot of those cameras are supposed to be good up till a certain amount of degrees below zero. If its a camera less than a year old I would check, just because then it might be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty or something.

I’ve tried importing the XML file for LJ but it tells me something about no style information. Any idea what that’s about?
