I have been having a sort of shitty day. First off I lost my wallet somewhere between coming home from Safeway Sunday night and home.
I am having to go though the whole process of canceling everything that needs to be canceled, credit card, debit card, library card. I am going to have to call the local police station and report my drivers license stolen as well, but I will do that one tomorrow. I will even have to go about trying to figure out how to get a replacement CareCard (health card) … this blows.
This is so frustrating. I have been so careful with my personal belongings. I use to be very careless about where I put my debit card and credit card (eg. in a pocket of a jacket, or pants) I have been using my wallet and purse regularly. I cannot believe that I have actually lost it. I have searched everywhere. Cleaned out under the bed, searched every nook and cranny in the car & truck, phoned stores that I had last used my wallet, searched at work etc…

i hate losing my stuff……..like you I used to jam my “cards” in a pants pocket and then lose them, or show up at the grocery store only to realize i left my card at home. I’d probably stop back up at safeway and see if it’s there.another good one………look under the seats in your car…….. hope you get everything cancelled, and found.

Don’t you think it’s kind of stupid how we Americans can have our entire lives in our wallets? I mean, seriously, you’d think, as a nation that is so “advanced” that we would think of a better way to carry around essential information without risking it.
But, all ranting aside, I’m really sorry you have to go through all that crap. Red-tape is going to be your life for a while… I foresee it in my crystal ball.
